The Sanso (慚箱 (さんそう) Sansō) were heavily guarded Kamunabi fortresses that protect the Enchanted Blade wielders who fought in the Seitei War, with the exception of the "Master Swordsman".

History[]

Kokugoku Destroyed

The Kokugoku Hot Springs after being attacked by the Hishaku.

Around the same time as Kunishige Rokuhira's death, Misaka, the wielder of Cloud Gouger in the Seitei War, was also killed. This prompted the Kamunabi to take action, safeguarding the remaining wielders of the Enchanted Blades through moving them to the Sanso.

On November 9th, Hiruhiko of the Hishaku attacked the Kokugoku Hot Springs in an attempt to assassinate Yoji Uruha. Hiruhiko first dispatched a group of sorcerers the Hishaku had contracted and equipped with Datenseki, and this group destroyed the Sanso but were ultimately defeated by the Kokugoku Steam Squad, their bodies shortly exploding. Hiruhiko personally eliminated the weakened squad, before taking several of the squad's bodies to a nearby train station.

Senkutsuji Destroyed

Branches destroying parts of Senkutsuji Temple.

On the same day, Hiruhiko sent the remaining forces of the sorcerers with Datenseki Weapons to Senkutsuji Temple, attempting to take down Seiichi Samura and the temple residents. Yura, over the phone, revealed to a member of the Hishaku that the firepower they sent to the Senkutsuji Temple was the majority of their forces. While Seiichi Samura held back the Hishaku forces, the bodies of dead sorcerers exploded and sprouted out branches. These branches overtook parts of the temple, completely destroying the walls, and ceiling.
