Norisaku Madoka: I Will Change (
Summary[]
On the morning after yesterday's events, Chihiro recalls that last night, Shiba and Azami had left to plan their next course of action. After thinking back to Azami's earlier comment that Sojo was out of Chihiro's league, Chihiro's expression sours. However, his contemplation is interrupted by Char playing shiritori with herself while asleep. Chihiro walks out of the closed back room of the cafe, seeing Hinao cleaning the front, and after Hinao asks whether Char was still sleeping (which Chihiro reports she is) Chihiro thanks her for letting them stay at the cafe, and Hinao replies she is glad to be of assistance. The doorbell then rings as the door opens.
The perspective switches to Norisaku Madoka, currently introspecting. He notes that during his time as a sorcerer he was known as 'Daruma' after his signature explosive daruma, and had been a highly skilled sorcerer who had never been defeated, until his encounter with Chihiro. After his interrogation, Shiba advises Norisaku to start a new life. Norisaku is baffled by the notion before remembering his sister berating him for bringing shame to their family due to his becoming a sorcerer, the family becoming known as the 'bomb monster family'. Seeing Norisaku's regret upon thinking back, Shiba believes it might not be too late for him to change his path.
Norisaku realises Shiba had given him great advice and decided to quit being a sorcerer. He heads to his house using crutches, throws his sorcerer clothing in the bin and calls his sister to let her know. Although she is irritated, berating Norisaku for thinking a simple apology would set everything straight, his earnest desire to make things right step by step changes her mind. She asks if Norisaku has called their mother and he says he didn't receive a reply, which they realise is probably due to the late hour. Norisaku decides to go apologise first thing in the morning, his sister promising to pick him up. The next morning, with a new resolve, Norisaku enters the car and thanks his sister for her support.
Abruptly, Norisaku sees her lying unconscious, blood gushing from a wound. Looking in the rear mirror, Norisaku sees Genichi Sojo sitting in the back, shortly before Sojo impales Norisaku through the seat using Cloud Gouger. Norisaku is distraught, shouting that his sister hadn't done anything, and Sojo replied the deaths were the consequences of Norisaku's failure to complete his task, the plural term leading Norisaku to realise in horror that Sojo had killed his mother.
Overwhelmed by the situation, Norisaku summons a massive amount of daruma in his body in an attempt to kill Sojo with him, but is abruptly flash frozen by Cloud Gouger's Yui. Sojo casually leaves the car, remarking Norisaku's sister was still alive. He comments that if Norisaku had chosen a path in life, he should have committed to it to the very end. Upon Sojo sheathing Cloud Gouger and cancelling Yui, Norisaku unfreezes and the daruma bombs detonate the car.
Sometime prior, the Trauma Sorcerer noted his younger brother was getting better at using his sorcery, the two of them having the same psyche-based sorcery. The day before, the Trauma Sorcerer told his brother to watch as he proved not even an Enchanted Blade wielder could stand against their own trauma, but instead his brother saw his execution. In the present, the brother meets with Sojo, having tracked down Chihiro's location and desiring for Sojo to kill him.
Sojo agrees and attacks the brother as a warm-up, unsheathing Cloud Gouger with his right hand and grabbing the brother's neck with his left. The brother triggers his sorcery on Sojo, who remembers himself at a younger age standing amidst a field of flowers below an array of bodies floating mid-air, but Sojo ignores his trauma, comments on the interesting sorcery and beheads the brother.
Sojo then arrives at Cafe Haru Haru and shoves Hinao aside before Chihiro halts him in his tracks, the two Enchanted Blades clashing. As Chihiro recognises Cloud Gouger, Sojo comments Chihiro is fast before activating Cloud Gouger and calling Mei, a lightning blast sending Chihiro through a wall. Char awakes due to the commotion and notices Sojo's presence, immediately becoming terrified. Hinao enters the room and urges Char to hide, though Char is more worried about Chihiro.

Chihiro and Sojo prepare to battle.
Having blasted Chihiro through a wall, Sojo calls to Chihiro, asking if he was dead, as he had come solely to seek battle between two Enchanted Blades and investigate the existence of a seventh blade. Chihiro then walks out from the destroyed wall unscathed, having used Aka to absorb the attack, unseen by Sojo. He questions whether Sojo's bloody sword was stained with the blood of evildoers, and Sojo indifferently replies he does not care. Chihiro declares Sojo has no business wielding Cloud Gouger in that case as he activates Enten, the black and tri-coloured goldfish emerging around him. Sojo grins in anticipation of the upcoming battle, yelling at Chihiro to bring it on as two cloud dragons surround him.
